Cannizaro House Wimbledon London Wedding Venue
Cannizaro House is one of our favourite London venues, especially for a more intimate and sophisticated wedding.
It feels light years away from the noise and crowds of central London and yet is very easy to get to.
You may choose to marry in a local church, but if you prefer a civil ceremony, the Queen Elizabeth Suite is licensed to hold your wedding ceremony for a maximum of 60 guests. Alternatively, it's a good place for your drinks reception if you arrive at Cannizaro House as newlyweds.
As wedding photographers, we're always looking for 'cover' in case the weather is unkind for part of your day. You'll have the Cannizaro's elegant Drawing Room with its impressive, sweeping staircase is a perfect setting to greet your guests at your drinks reception and for photographs later.
Immediately outside the ceremony room, a large terrace overlooks Cannizaro Park. This is a space we've used for relaxed informal photography during the drinks reception and requested group shots.

- photo opportunities are to be had on the terrace which is perfect for your drinks reception. The gardens are wonderful for romantic walks with plenty of photo opportunities
- Gorgeous contemporary interior, with an arty feel and echos of the elegant early nineteenth century
- The magnificent staircase is perfect for photographs of just the two of you - or of your family groups if the weather is unkind
